Job Title: Security Superintendent

Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Security Manager and will be responsible for the administration and coordination of security related operations at the Ahafo Mine

Manage operations and responsible for controlling site access and egress including vehicle inspections, visitor and employee access and access to high security areas
Ensure that all incidents reported are properly recorded and documented and that
Prepare weekly and monthly reports are complied and submitted
Responsible for gold shipments and all security aspects in relation to transfer of gold samples and other gold bearing material
The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive

Required Skills or Experience

At least a tertiary qualification certification with ASIS is preferred
A minimum of 10 years experience in government or private investigation institutions e.g. Police or Private Security firm
Knowledge and practical experience with Ellipse is desirable
Advanced knowledge in computer with good English language both spoken and written
