Job Description

The Site inspector is the Nokia Siemens Networks representative on site for the inspection of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Tetecom instaBafion works. Areas of responsibilities include visiting sites randomly accordingly to Project Quality Plan requirements, monitoring and inspecting BSS site and Telecom installation work progress to verify that the implementation is done according to Customer specifications, Nokia Siemens Networks standards & guidelines and work processes as well as Quality and Health & Safety standards.

The person occupying the role ensures that overall Project site quality reaches the objectives and key performance indicator s set locally and globally. More over, Site inspector ensures pro-active quality improvement actions, by analyzing the project situation and cooperating closely with the project team and customer as well as suppliers and subcontractors. The Site Inspector monitors and verifies subcontractor performance and competence against customer specifications and Nokia Siemens Networks required standards


Required Skills or Experience

Basic degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge in transmission systems
Experience with Flexi Hopper, Flexi Metro (SR4), Flexi Hybrid (SRA4 HC) or SRT 1F will be an advantage; have customer focus on mind at all times
Good communication skills
Team player and used to working in mutli-cultural teams
Pro-active and able to work independently
