Metro Mass Transit is recruiting for Estate Officer ( Project Management) in Accra Ghana.

Job Purpose
To assist the Estate Manager in project planning and development as well as maintenance of company assets.

Main Duties
Maintain reliable project information required for both monthly and annual estimates.
Actively supervise any development or redevelopment plans or schemes of the company
Liaise effectively with consultants in pre – contract documentation and post contract administration.
Ensure proper vetting of bill of quantities, claims and certificates.
Pro vide inputs into the preparation of annual budgets,
Participate in executing development projects for the company.
Assist in the updating of the properties register.
Prepare maintenance and repair schedules.
Conduct periodic inspection of all landed properties of the company and submit reports together with recommendations for Management consideration.

Required Skills or Experience

The ideal candidate for the position should:
Possess a University Degree in Land Economy with at least six (6) year of relevant working experience in an Estate related setting or Diploma in Estate Management or Building / Civil Engineering with at least seven (7) years experience.
Be professionally certified by the Institute of Surveyors.
Be computer literate.
The candidate must also have the following competencies;
Skills in quantity surveying
Negotiation skills
Must be a lateral thinker, logical and analytical with demonstrable accuracy in written and verbal task.
Must be a team player with the capacity to work under pressure and to meet the strictest deadlines.
Must be articulate and diligent, and possess the tenacity to function within a challenging environment.
