Statoil Libya is an active player in the Libyan oil and gas sector. We are the operator of three exploration licences and exploration is currently ongoing. Statoil Libya also participates in oil production from the Mabruk field and the Murzuk basin. Our objective is to expand our business activities. Job description

* Overall responsibility for the human resources area, including, but not limited to:
* recruitment and staffing
* training and development
* compensation and benefits
* employee administration and relations

Qualifications

* College/university degree in HR or a related field
* Minimum five years relevant experience, preferably from the oil and gas industry
* Excellent command of oral and written English
* Knowledge of Libyan labour legislation
* Knowledge of SAP and SOX is preferred
