Head of Finance Vacancy - Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE)

The Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) plays a key role in the economy by raising capital for businesses, mobilizing savings for investment, redistributing wealth, improving corporate governance and creating investment opportunities for small investors.

In line with its mission of providing a world class trading facility for wealth creation, the Exchange is seeking to recruit a qualified, dynamic, self- motivated and results- oriented individual to fill the position of Head of Finance.

Responsible to the Chief Executive, the selected candidate will provide technical and professional leadership in the planning, development and evaluation of NSE's financial policies and systems, including strategic financial plans and budgets aimed at ensuring prudent management and control of financial resources.

In addition, the selected candidate will provide strategic direction and thought leadership in policy formulation, planning and standard setting in relation to the Exchange's procurement function.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in a business related field. Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage.
Possession of professional qualifications such as CRA, CFA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent.
Membership of a relevant professional body.
Minimum seven (7) years experience gained in related business.
Experience in the capital markets or in the financial sector will be an added advantage.
