Vacancy: Trainer

Reporting to: The Production & Apprenticeship Manager

Key Roles
Implement training methods and procedures that are appropriate for the target group(vulnerable youth of 17-21yrs)
Transfer skills in the technical areas of Fashion, Textiles, Art & Design and handicrafts.
Design assessment and evaluation tools for the same.
Liaise with others to ensure the effective management of the training programme.
Offer Guiding and Counselling to the trainees
Maintain high standards of discipline among the trainees

Qualifications
Diploma in Clothing Technology or Fashion Design
Technical expertise in designing, cutting and assembly of garments
At least 2yrs working experience in a similar position.
A dynamic and self motivated individual who can work without supervision.

Required Skills
Excellent communication skills( both oral and written)
Fluency in English and Swahili
Computer literate
Good interpersonal skills
Initiative and creativity in programme delivery
High integrity
