Must normally be a qualified Dental Surgeon and of professorial status.
Must exhibit a high sense of industry and organizational skills.
Must be a visionary and must be able to establish linkages within the University system and between the School and government, civil society and the wider world.
Must be capable of attracting funds to the School .
Must be able to serve a full term before attaining the compulsory retiring age.
