Job Description

The Stores Supervisor; reporting to the Accountant will be required to ensure strict adherence to stores procedures as required by the company's ISO accreditation. Additionally, the Stores Supervisor will:

Ensure that efficient and accurate receipt of incoming materials
Ensure that temperature sensitive materials, which form the bulk of the stock are kept at the right temperature
Maintain a stores system including a location plan which will enable effective and efficient storing arid-picking of materials
Monitor stock and re-order levels and co-ordinate closely with Purchasing Dept to ensure that there are no stock shortages which will affect the operation of the company
Liaise with the Laboratory Manager and Finance Department in regularly reviewing re-orders levels
Ensure timely and accurate recording of both receipts and issues
Ensure all stock takes are performed accurately and efficiently and in accordance with stock taking procedures
Reconcile and investigate differences between physical stock takes with computer records
Liaise closely with company's freight forwarders and couriers for the timely clearance of temperature sensitive imported chemical agents required for the company' operations.
Perform other duties as required by the Finance Department

The successful candidate will have:
Education to HND in Purchasing and Supply or Degree level in Stores Management, finance or similar discipline
Experience and a clear-understanding of stores environments.
A minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar role is essential, experience in a medical diagnostic or medical stores environment is preferable.
Computer literacy is essential and knowledge of Excel and Tally is preferable.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good and responsible attitude and highest standards of ethics.

Remuneration: Commensurate with duties and responsibilities.
