TRAINEE & EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANTS
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a strong academic record and experience
working in a multinational organisation. Work experience in the oil & gas is
desirable.
The Role:
The successful candidate will perform several accounting functions either within
the Controller's department or in support roles within the Business Line. Such
accounting responsibilities will be in the areas of Fixed Assets, Budget Control,
Bank Reconciliation, Joint Interest Accounting/Interface, Financial Reporting &
Analysis, Projects Accounting, Business Support and CAPEX/OPEX Analysis.
The ideal candidate must fit the following profile:
Educational Criteria (Trainee)
lBachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of Second
Class Upper
Higher National Diploma in Accounting or Finance with minimum of Upper
Credit
A professional accounting qualification or MBA will be an added advantage
Educational Criteria (Experienced)
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of Second
Class Upper (a professional accounting qualification or MBA will be an added
advantage)
Bachelor of Science in other discipline with a minimum of Second Class
Upper plus a professional accounting qualification
l3-5 years post-NYSC experience
Other Requirements
NYSC discharge certificate (Corps members completing their service by
December 31, 2009, may apply for the Trainee Position)
Strong analytical skills and computer proficiency
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple changing and competing priorities
Willingness to work in any location


TRAINEE ENGINEERS
The ideal candidate profile:
lAt least a B.Sc, B.Eng or B.Tech. degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper
Division (2.1) in any of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical,
Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial & Production, Subsea,
or Materials & Metallurgical
Previous experience is not required
NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (Candidates currently serving may
apply)
Successful candidates must be self-motivated with ability to make effective
individual contributions within a functional team
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
Strong written and verbal communications skills, uncompromising integrity, be
zealous and quick to learn new expertise through training

RESERVOIR ENGINEERS
The ideal candidate profile:
At least a B.Sc, B.Eng or B.Tech. degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper
Division (2.1) in any of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical,
Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Industrial & Production, and Materials & Metallurgical
l5 - 10 years of relevant experience in oil production, preferably in Petroleum, or
Reservoir Engineering, including experience in Reservoir surveillance, modelling
and simulation

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintain and implement near term reservoir and well surveillance strategies and
plans consistent with long term field depletion plans, and monitor MPN's oil and
gas wells and fields
lProvide reservoir engineering input into MPN's active drill-well, workover and
project development programs
Ensure effective reservoir management of MPN resource base as well as interact
with reservoir simulation models

SUB-SURFACE ENGINEERS
The ideal candidate profile:
Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree (B. Sc./ B. Eng.) with a minimum
of second class upper (2.1) division in any of the following engineering
disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical/Electronics,
Industrial & Production, or Materials & Metallurgical
l5 - 10 years of well workover and related operations experience with at least two
(2) years working on offshore rig base wellwork activities as an advantage
This position requires an individual who brings a well-rounded knowledge and
exposure to completion and drilling activities

Job Roles/Responsiblities
Qualified candidates must be able to develop all phases of well workover
projects; from well design and engineering, to workover execution plans
Successful candidates must possess good written and verbal
communications skills, uncompromising integrity, be zealous and quick to
learn new expertise through training
:
Workover and new well design, preparation of workover packages, nodal
analysis and wellbore/ field surveillance through active participation on Asset
Level Teams
Prepare government reports, well testing, gas lift optimization, and support
and supervise rig-less wellwork operations
Provide rig site technical assistance to Rig Supervisors during workover
operations
Monitor workover operations according to safety and quality control
standards, environmental regulations, corporate policy, and contract terms
Devise cost-effective techniques to drill, complete, and rework companyoperated
wells
Interface closely with drill teams, completions/subsea teams, and 3rd party
suppliers to ensure that the wellwork is on time and within budget
Prepare final well reports with strong emphasis on lessons learned and
wellbore integrity

PROJECT ENGINEERS
The ideal candidate profile:
Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree (B. Sc./B. Tech./B. Eng.) with
a minimum of second class upper (2.1) division in any of the following
disciplines – Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
5 - 10 years of relevant working experience in oil production, management of
engineering and construction contracts (preferably in facilities or
project/petroleum engineering)
Must have demonstrated technical competence and leadership ability
:
Contribute to the planning, design and execution of world class development
projects
Provide project engineering support in the areas of process and hydraulic
simulation, development of equipment specification, development of process
flow diagrams, major equipment sizing, equipment layout, cost estimates and
project schedules
Involvement in design, fabrication and installation or start-up of oil and gas
production facilities/pipelines

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERS
Ideal candidate profile
Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree (B. Sc./B. Tech./B. Eng.) with
a minimum of second class upper (2.1) division in any of the following
disciplines – Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
l5-10 years of relevant working experience in management of construction
projects (preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry)
Must have demonstrated technical competence and leadership ability
:
Contribute to the planning, and execution of world class Oil & Gas projects
Provide construction engineering support in reviewing of Project Designs such
as structural and mechanical arrangements, equipment specifications, process
flow diagrams, equipment layouts to ensure constructability
Prepare and monitor construction cost estimates and project schedules
Monitor and steward progress of projects through fabrication, installation
through completion to startup and hand over to Operations.


SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS
Ideal Candidate profile:
At least a B.Sc, B.Eng or B.Tech. degree with a minimum of Second
Class Upper Division (2.1) in any of the following engineering
disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum,
Electrical/Electronics, Industrial & Production, or Materials &
Metallurgical, Safety Engineering and Risk Management
5-10 years relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry
Roles and Responsibilities
Identification and implementation of improvements to the development
of emission inventories
Assisting in the planning, preparation and analysis of Environmental
and Safety performance information
Conducting risk assessments
Development and coordination Environmental and Safety management
systems and programs
Manage marine and construction safety in offshore projects and
operations
Ensure ExxonMobil is applying safe, reliable and environmentally
sound practices
Work with government directly or through industry trade associations to
develop effective laws and regulations based on sound science, risk
and cost-benefit analysis
Provide guidance to protect or operating organizations on complex
regulatory and environmental issues, coordinating submittals and
tracking approval of all required permits/submittals/notification, and
leading environmental permitting efforts
